Raising a dispute

I have been scammed on Upwork as did the work and not got paid.  I understand now this is a common occurence for newbies on here who are unaware of the need to check the contract has been set-up.

I would like to make others aware of this member, as they may try this with others.  How do I raise a dispute against them?

How can you raise a dispute?

You can't.

If you were not officially hired with an Upwork contract, there is no way to raise a dispute.

There is no way for you to get paid.

You may, however, use the "Flag as inappropriate" link button on the job post page to report the client for asking freelancers to work for free.

People learn one way or the other. They learn by finding out how something works first, or they learn by finding out why finding out how something works would have been a good idea.

If you use Upwork correctly, it is rather difficult not to get paid.
