Job posting closed after 24 hours being listed...

Hi Team,

Just confused a bit over here 🤔

How is it a job posting closes after being Live for only 24 hours?

I applied for a job posting. It showed being posted 1 hour ago.

The next day, I get a message saying the job is now closed.

Please explain.

The client either hired someone else or closed the job post.

To get a better idea of how gigs and hire rates work on the platform, scroll through a few weeks of postings in your niche. Some clients hire as soon as they find a qualified freelancer, others post a gig and never hire. 

If you received a message from Upwork that they closed the gig, it may be because it violated the TOS and was removed.
