Reactivate an old account

Hello!

 

I created an account on Upwork some time ago, and now I want to use it again. I don't know if the original account was closed by me or if it just expired, but I cannot reuse my email address or my username for a new account. Please assist.

I hhave not been able to use my account since the first time I registered. now I', having issues managing my account and it seems like my profile is no longer active. Is there any way I could reactivate it?

I have reactivated my 2 years old account with the help of customer support.

I provided them my all educational and certificate documents related to my upwork profile and they reactivated it.

Hi,

 

I incorrectly setup a client account instead of a freelancer account. I closed my client account in hopes that I would be able to re-sign up with it as a freelance account but now I can't access it or reactivate it at all. 

 

Could you help me reactivate this account?

Hello Annie! My husband is trying to reactivate his old Upwork account **Edited for Community Guidelines**. It was suspended when Upwork stopped operations in Belarus.

We now are living in Canada and he wants to reactivate his account and tried to do it emailing to **Edited for Community Guidelines**. But the email he received in response said that "this email address is not monitored".

He also tried to fill in **Edited for Community Guidelines** Submit Suspension Appeal form on the website. But it also didn't work and he received this kind of reply: "We see you submitted a request to appeal an Upwork account suspension.

However, the account you submitted it for either doesn’t exist or is still active (not suspended)."

He does have an account but nothing seem to be working. He can't log in because the Log in form says his account is suspended as well. 

Could you help?

Unfortunately, we're unable to discuss the details of another user's account with you for privacy reasons. Your husband should be able to reach out to our support team via the chatbot without having to log in.

 
Here’s how you can reach a human in customer support:
 
  1. Select Get Support at the bottom of this or any Help center page
  2. Type a question or topic and select "Send." The bot will find relevant Help articles for you.
  3. If we don't find the information you need after a few tries, you’ll see an option under the article selections to "Contact Support"
