I'm finding it really slow in the writing/editing category right now (for the last couple of weeks or so)--there seem to be so few promising jobs that actually end up hiring someone. Anyone else notice this??? I'm feeling a bit useless.
Over half of my clients are long-term, so that helps insulate me against some of the ups and downs. It takes some time and screening to find those relationships.
Business-related blog work has picked up recently. I would imagine the types of work being requested reflects economic trends. Where is content still needed to move the needle? That's the types of gigs that will be offered.
I have noticed that as well. Fortunately, I have clients who have come to me, both Upwork and non-Upwork clients. Even the jobs that pay poorly and I wouldn't apply to anyway are few and far between.
