Received email from Client after proposal got declined

Hi UpWork team,

 

I received a proposal declined email from Upwork. Later I received an email from the client saying as below.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'll be sure to share this with our team for further review and appropriate action will be taken according to our internal processes. 

 

I'd also like to use this opportunity to remind that offering and accepting payments off Upwork is a violation of Upwork ToS and carries a penalty for all parties involved. It also means forfeiting the payment protection Upwork Protection Programs provide.
