A client that I meet on Upwork has referred me to a different client that is not on Upwork and who doesn't want to be. Can I take them on as a client outside of Upwork without violating the TOS?

I get that that doesn't matter but it's fine, I was just told about the "Direct Contracts" service so I will go with that option. Thanks!

No, that would be a serious violation.

Really? Like I said this would be a different, entirely new client than the one I meet at Upwork, and they don't have nor do they want to make an Upwork-account.

I now realize that I posted this in the wrong part of the forum, I though this section was about clients rather than for clients. Apologies, I'll go over to the correct section.

It doesn't matter where you post it, it doesn't change the fact that this is still a violation of Upwork's Terms of Service because you met the client through a client you met on Upwork.
