I clicked by mistake on "give a refund" button, and Upwork take from me 18$ and sent it to client (Julia),

So and as it seems in the snapshot that i have sent to the client (Julia) which is attached with this message that my "Avaliable" become -2.7 after it was 13.5$.

And i worked (new offer) for the client (Julia) in exchange for 18$.

Julia says (she sent me a $ 18 instead of the (refund)

and she give me another 18$ as (Bonus) for the work

Is that correct? Please help me quickly? thanks

I assume you have to go through the waiting period again, so it won't show up for 6 days.

Hi Ibrahim,

When the client fails to pay for hours logged by the freelancer, any hours that aren’t covered by Upwork Hourly Protection may be reversed.

The team will also be reaching out to you directly via email with more information about your specific account.

Thank you!

Thank you Bojan for your fast reply.

I found the credit of the client is Zero, he will fund it and I will log the hours again.

Thank you!

Oh and the answer to your question... If a very nice client paid you, and you sent the money back to her... And then she paid you AGAIN, and possibly a third time... Using a bonus or whatever method... And you're asking "is this correct?"

The answer is: any amount she paid you is correct and you should be grateful to her for being so patient with you. She has probably overpaid you.

Don't even think about "doing the math" and asking her for another fifty cents or something. You are not an accountant or mathematician and should leave well enough alone.

I do not think as an accountant as you say.

I made a mistake, and I asked about how to get out of this impasse.

Hi Ibrahim,

It looks like after the accidental refund your client paid $18 to you today. You can currently see the amount under your Reports under Pending because of the 6-days security period. It will become available on August 4.
