Hello there,
I have worked for a client. The deadline was 31st December and I submitted the work before that which I usually do. I do it because if there needs any revision or modification, I will gladly do it. The client was not responding for a few days. Some days after 31st December he replied that he was busy at Christmas and he assured me that he will check the work and will pay. After a few days, he approved the milestone. On 3rd January he contacted me that he does not like the work and he sent me a refund request. My question is if I don't respond to that refund request, will the money be deducted from my account automatically?

From what I've read on here, if you don't respond to the refund request, Upwork will give the money back to the client. You absolutely have to respond.
