Reporting strange client request

Hello and sorry if I post this in wrong category.

I want to report strange client request which I believe it is against the ToS of the Upwork platform but I can't find the suitable category  on the "Upwork Help Center"

Is there a way to post a ticked without category?

Without identifying details, what is the client requesting?

Hi Stanislav,

Please pm me a screenshot of the client's request and a link to their job post, so I can take a look. Thanks.

**Edited for Community Guidelines**

The client has already hired a few and its not a newly signed up one.

Hi Neena,

Thanks for reporting. I had our team review the job you shared and we can confirm it's in line with Upwork ToS.

Vladimir,

I am new to Upwork and have had 2 interviews via google hangout where both interviewers asked for my address, bank name, phone number, and e-mail. I was uneasy about their processes, but I am new so I don't know what is legit. Both offered pay outside of Upwork and way more than my rate. Do employers get screened like freelancers do before posting work? I am trying to decipher how to tell when an offer is legit.

Thanks for your help.

Angela

Angela, here are some red flags to look out for and flag:

Interview on Google Hangouts or Facebook

Not paying through Upwork

Requiring you to spend money in some way to work for them; Sending you a check for equipment or whatever

Requesting personal information - Upwork already has it, the client doesn't need it

Offering benefits like insurance, etc.  Freelancers do NOT get benefits ever.

Using the name of a well known company and sometimes an actual employee of that company

Upaid tests, unpaid samples

Looking to hire dozens of freelancers

Be sure that your profile doesn't say that you are new to Upwork - they pick up on that really quickly.

When you are new, pretty much any and all invitations are bogus.  Sad, but true.

Hello Angela,

Here is a link to help you avoid these suspicious job posts. We suggest that you refrain from getting paid outside of Upwork because it will cause your account to be suspended. Our team is now investigating about your concern.
