Requesting permission to use oDesk keyword

Hi,

I'm not sure if I came to the right place. I recently developed an Android application that serves as an oDesk client for Freelancers. The name of the app is called "oDesk Freelancers". I would like to know if I can get permission to use the said name and also use some of the logos from oDesk.

I have put a disclaimer on the application stating that I do not own and am not affiliated with oDesk in anyway. And that all data and images belongs to oDesk.

Appreciate any feedback on this.

Thanks.

Hi Allen,

Congratulations on developing “oDesk Freelancers” Application.Smiley Happy

“oDesk and its Logos etc.” are solely proprietary contents of oDesk Corporation with its principal place of business at 441 Logue Ave., Mountain View, CA 94043 California U.S.A. So you can’t use them in any manner, despite of any disclaimer.

However, you may submit your developed application with oDesk for review, upon testing and verifying the acceptable standards they may want you to give them your copyrights.Smiley Happy

Best,

Manish.
