I have been contacted a few hours ago by a client from the UK who offered me a position in his reshipping startup. I did the research and this is what I found:
What I learned from this: Don't communicate with the client outiside of UpWork, don't give out your email address. Don't allow client to ship (stolen) goods to your home.
Thanks God I noticed the warning signs early enough!
I see that actions have already been taken against the client's account. I am also following up with the team regarding the job posting itself.
