Reskilling for success

Hi, Team 

i got notification today Monday on Upwork

 

"After several issues identified by recent clients, your ability to apply for new projects is restricted until you complete the Re-Skilling for Success learning path; access will be restored the Monday after completion."

 

i have completed Reskilling for success course...now kindly allow me to apply new projects..and remove this restrictions please

Hi everyone,

 

I would like to let you know that this process has been deprecated, and completing the Re-Skilling for Success Learning Path will no longer lift any suspensions on your account. While we do still recommend you complete the Learning Path as it has valuable information for your freelancing success, please know that the relevant next steps or actions needed to lift a suspension on your account will always be on the email you received from our team. If you have any questions about your account suspension, please reply to the team directly, as they are the ones who can best assist you.

 

With this in mind, I'll be closing this thread from further replies as it is no longer relevant.

Thank you for reaching out and completing the course. I want to clarify that your account will be automatically resumed on Monday following the course's completion. Your account should be resumed by next Monday.

Thank you for reaching out. I want to clarify that your account will be automatically resumed on Monday following the course's completion. Your account should be resumed by next Monday which is on the 29th of July, 2024.

Support says this should some how affect my jss score because he got mad that I'm straight and homie don't play that way.

can you imagine having your jss score go down because some creep made up a giant job and then hit negative private feedback when you're like, uh no.

I am the freelancer you want. I go above and beyond on my projects. I get interested in them. I even try to help you get extra features. 

 

For instance, this client wanted a drone map they could draw on a website that exported to kmz. It also had to have some security and store data on s3 buckets with signed urls. We agree and draw up an upwork contract. I will hand him looms every day and then on friday the source and final product.

 

Here is the loom where he has his freakout:

 

At 1:25 he starts having his freakout talking about how other devs have scammed him.

The extra work to make the client happy was the triangle polygon thing. I literally was going ABOVE AND BEYOND for this client when he lost his mind. 

 

The only thing the client was charged for what was agreed and then extra work he specifically asked for on his other project outside of upwork.

 

and here is me staying professional and delivering his product.

Tell me again why my account should be locked because of this? 

 

I delivered a LOOM EVERY DAY after being called a scammer and the product.

Now because PREVIOUS devs have made this guy mentally ill my jss was affected and I'm in some week "reskill hold"

 

This is why you get crap. Because clients like him make people like me NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PROJECT.

I think the main problem is clients know how to lie to support and have developed an entitlement complex over it.

 

This is why so many projects are failing. Clients like this guy run off the good workers.

Even if you attempt to create resolution and open the door and say I get it you had a break down from previous devs they go right back to being insulting.

what can we correlate that the only two people who heavily complain to upwork seem to have trouble with every dev but my history, until it hits them, seems to be VERY POSITIVE?

Looks like they haven't fixed it Nikolas, has upwork bought too much AI slop from people using cursor ai? Can you raise my ticket. I think insulting someone with 18 years contracting experience and a very impressive portfolio is not a good look for upwork.

Hi Ivygail J I also got notification for reskilling test this monday and put me on hold and restricted to apply new jobs  and I have completed the test and also earned the badge of reskilling success.  Will Upwork remove my restriction on the coming Monday? I am worried about it please update me

Hi JoanneP, I have the same problem. I was restricted from Upwork, and I have completed Upwork's 'Re-Skilling for Success' learning path. However, my account is still restricted after 2 weeks. Could you please advise me on what steps I should take next? Thank you.

My account got restricted about 9 days ago that i can't apply to new projects and it advised me to complete Re-Skilling for success.  

 

I have already completed the Re-Skilling for Success learning path. However, my access has not been restored, even though it is past the designated Monday. Could you please look into this matter and assist with restoring my access as soon as possible?
