Rights to Written Work

I wrote three blog articles for a client. She said they would be posted under my byline, but she has now posted them under her name.  I am fine with that, however, I want to link to the articles in my portfolio as examples of my work. I am under the impression from the Upwork contract that she can do whatever she wishes to the articles as they are hers, and the discussion we had in messages isn't binding. I do not wish to have her change the byline, but do I have the right to link to the articles in my portfolio?

Thanks!

With the client's permission, yes.

You have to ask her permission OR have had it agreed in writing from the onset.

If you add them to your Upwork portfolio, it asks you if the article was done for an Upwork contract. If you link it, the client gets notified and unless they object, the portfolio item is automatically addedboth in your portfolio and in your contract history.
