Rising Talent Badge

How i know that i am eligible for rising talent badge?

Hi Marc,

 

The Rising Talent badge is available by invitation only. This means that even if you meet the qualifications for earning one, it will not be automatically added to your profile. Some factors are considered based on the criteria, your profile, and other factors, including your work category. The badge will be added to your profile if you're selected and no action is required from you.

The Rising Talent status is assigned automatically when a freelancer meets the requirements listed here. This process is working as designed, and we can't specify a reason why a freelancer isn't eligible to receive the Rising Talent badge. Once you qualify, you should receive a notification letting you know.

I have a complete verified Profile, also have done my first job and  no account holds in the last 90 days but I am unable to get Rising Talent Badge.

Hi there!

I have complete criteria with 100% complete profile and no 90days hold and also have correct check on rising talent badge conditions but still i didn't get an email and get a badge from upwork.

So Why upwork algorithm is not giving me rising talent badge?

Or What should i do?

This process is working as designed, and we can't specify a reason why a freelancer isn't eligible to receive the Rising Talent badge. I have a good Profile with 100 percent of JSS and no account holds in the last 90 days but I am unable to get Rising Talent Badge.

My client's account was suspended due to which it's project is still showing in my ongoing project and I am not able to get "Rising Talent Badge". Waiting for your response thanks.

Do you mean that one of your clients was suspended? If so, this doesn't impact your ability to get the badge. As Arjay mentioned in his post above, the Rising Talent status is assigned automatically when a freelancer meets the requirements listed in this help article. Once you qualify, you should receive a notification letting you know.

The Rising Talent badge is automatically assigned when a freelancer meets the requirements listed here. Once you qualify for the badge, you will receive a notification letting you know, and it will also reflect on your profile.

Hey, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address an issue regarding the Rising Talent badge on my Upwork profile. Despite meeting all the eligibility criteria outlined by Upwork, I have yet to receive the Rising Talent badge.

 

As of December 7, 2023, I have been an active member of the Upwork community, diligently completing projects on time and maintaining a 100% complete profile with accurate skills. I consistently update my availability status, regularly submit proposals to projects that align with my skill set, and adhere strictly to Upwork's Terms of Service. Additionally, I have maintained a Job Success Score of 100% and have had no holds on my account in the past 90 days.

 

Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated. If there are any further steps I need to take or additional information required from my end, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Hello!

It's been a long time since I have fulfilled the requirements of rising talent badge. I have 100% JSS. More than 16 weeks completed of eligibility and no account holds in the past 90 days. I haven't been awarded the badge. Why is that? Please resolve the issue.

Hello! As you can see I'm eligible for top rated, yet not even a rising talent badge has been displayed on my profile not to talk of top rated. How can this be resolved please?.

Hello!

I am confused about the rising talent badge. I appear to have all the requirements, yet the badge is not appearing to potential clients. I have a job success score, and the top rated "eligible weeks" counter has been going up for four weeks, so I'm not sure what the hold up is. I've heard I should receive an email from upwork when the badge is awarded, but this has not happened yet. What could be wrong?

I am a new member who has only been on Upwork for 5 months.
I have done 5 projects so far and got 100% marks on all of them.
Of course, the completeness of the profile is 100%.
However, the rising talent badge does not appear in my account profile.
If anyone knows why this problem occurs and how to fix it, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.

I am confused, I have had a 100% complete profile for months now, multiple 5-star reviews, don't have any holds on my account, never broke any TOS, paying monthly subscription, and bought a plethora of connects, and I still don't have a rising talent badge, why?

Hi Arjay, thank you for responding but the main issue is I have fulfilled all the terms mentioned in the article you shared but still I do not have the Rising talent badge. I want to know the reason why.
