Scam Client maybe?

Good morning everyone,

I have been contacted by what seems to be a Scam Client.   When they messaged me after I submitted proposal, they wanted me to interview on Wire Messenger.  I politely told them, that Upwork TOS stipulates no outside communication prior to contract.  They came back and said that "that is not possible".    

I have reported, but should I also withdraw proposal, or will Upwork do it, since I have reported the posting?

You did the right thing. Their answer confirms their intention.

Do not withdraw your proposal. If Upwork takes the job down, your will get your Connects back later on.

Can someone with Upwork please look at something? This client that is mentioned above, I flagged yesterday for being adamant about interviewing outside of Upwork.  The same job posting was added again 9 hours ago.

That's what they do. Over and over. From dozens of accounts.

Flag it.

Move on.

Thanks, Petra.  That's what I did, but its so frustrating to see the same posts over and over, when you know they are clearly scam.

Yes, I get that, but until Upwork decide to do something about it, the best way to stay sane is to filter most of them out,
