Scams and Connections

It's incredible the amount of scams in the translation area (portuguese).
Almost 60% of the job offers are from the same person with different profiles trying to contact you via telegram and asking the same stuff.
Already lost more than 40 connections for these scams, at least i didn't got scamed in a way that i lost time but connections are money.
Half of my subscription connections are gone it's outrageous.

Scammers can have verified payment methods too.

Are you reporting the jobs when it becomes apparent they are scams? Once Upwork confirms this they will return your connects to you, but they can't do this unless someone tells them about it. You might want to check your Connects history. If you didn't report them, maybe someone else did.
