Seeking Help on Account Suspension Appeal

I am writing to formally request a review of my account blocking and to provide context regarding a recent situation with one of my clients.

 

I have been working with this client for the past three months under the agreed rate of $8 per hour. At the start of our contract, he initially hired me at a rate of $12 per hour, but later transitioned me to a contract with a rate of $8 per hour, during which he assured me that my rate would be increased within a month. I did not raise any objections at the time and continued working diligently on the project.

 

After three months, I reached out to him to discuss a rate increase, in line with our earlier agreement. However, he abruptly ended both contracts, providing reasons that I believe were inaccurate and unrelated to my performance. He ended both contracts and publicly gave me 5 star rating in both contracts and in priavte rating he gave me very bad rating due to which my JSS fall from 96% to 78%. In the mean time one of my another contract with anouther client and he gave me 5 star rating in both private and public. 

 

Yesterday, I got the notification that my account has been blocked because of negative feedback I recived. I talked with my client and he agreed to sort out this matter. He talk with upword support that our overall experience was good and he did not inted to effect my account and removed both of the negative reviews. Now my JSS is again at 96%. Everything is sorted out. I have not got even once single bad review in my upwork profile and I am at 5/5 rating in all the contracts that I have worked in. 

I understand the importance of maintaining high standards on Upwork, and I can assure you that I have always acted professionally. I am concerned that my account has been unfairly blocked due to this single incident, especially considering my track record of good work and client relationships.

 

I kindly request that you review this situation and reinstate my account, as Upwork is my primary source of income, and the tax season is critical for my business which is coming up in Jan of 2025. I am confident that I have not violated any policies and can provide further documentation to support my case. I have even talked about this matter by opening a ticket and they are saying they will review after 6 months. Now I am posting here. Client had removed the bad rating which he unintenationally gave to me and now in this situation I do not think that I deserve a block of 6 months whereas I have always tried to my provide quality services to my clients.
