Sending new milestone request to the client

How can I send a new milestone request to the client in addition to an existing milestone?

I have tried it in the following way:

- went to "my jobs" and open the contract

- from "milestones & earnings" clicked "add milestone"

- put the amount and sent request

But in the chatbox, it is showing that I have "sent a change request".

It is mentionable here that earlier I have submitted a milestone approval request for the past task.

Now I am confused that what the term "sent a change request" means?

Does this new milestone request include the milestone approval request already submitted?

I don't want that. I just want to create a new milestone request in addition to the already submitted approval request.

Generally, my clients create milestones and deposit funds in escrow. But one of my clients does not know how to create a new milestone. So I have tried to help him by sending a new milestone request for the next task.

Can anyone help me, please?

Thank you.

Has the previous milestone been approved?

The client can't fund a new milestone until the current one has been approved.

Hi Petra!

Thanks for the reply.

No that is not approved yet.

So, should I withdraw the new milestone request and send it later after approval of the previous one?

And, if I withdraw the new milestone request, shall it make any changes to the approval request of the previous milestone?

I would do absolutely nothing for now.

The issue is solved. The client has approved the previous milestone and create a new one.

Thanks for the cooperation.
