Service fee problem

Hey, I'm a freelancer and currently working for a company hourly based. I already finalise 2 different project and pay them out as 430+ dolar. The service fee was %20 for upwork. Until now it's ok. Now i passed the 500 dolar in my first week with new company. But %10 difference did not come. The same cut processed and service fee invoiced from %20 cut for whole amount. I was expecting %10 service fee after pass the 500 dolar. Right ? Why the upwork still cutting whole amount as %20 ?

Hi Ugur,

Freelancers are charged a sliding fee based on their lifetime billings with each client (across all contracts they've ever had with that client's company). Service fees are the same whether the contracts are hourly or fixed-price. Once they have earned $500 with one client their fee will be reduced to 10%.
