Service fee

So far, I have earned over $ 500 with one client. The service fee last week should be 10%. Why isn't regulated for me? Last week I received a payment from the same client and the service fee was $ 7.20. Why did that happen, if I exceeded $ 500 in earnings with him last week?

The service fee on the amount under the $500 will have been charged at 20%, and on the amount over $500 will have been charged at 10%. You're only $8 over the $500.

OK. How much does it take to earn over 500 for a service fee to be 10%?

EVERYTHING in excess of $500 is charged at a service fee of $10.

In your case, the $8 in excess of $500 had a service fee of 10%.

Everything you bill that client in future, on this contract or any other contract, will be at 10%.

Do you know that I am doing another job with this client and that the total
salary with him is not 508, but 548 dollars? The first job I did at a fixed
price, and the second one I do by the hour. How is it possible that it says
that I have earned $ 508 with that client so far? See the attached picture.
This is from the Billings by Client page.

No, I don't. You never mentioned that before.

Have you actually been PAID the aditional $40?

You really don't need to worry about it. It will get adjusted automatically.

All right. Thank you.
