Several irregular requests from client

A client contacted me and we had a video interview. Right after that they sent me a message asking for my email address so they can send the the profiles they needed me to start sourcing for them. I asked them about a contract and they never mentioned it. They wanted me to start working and they just kept asking for my personal email address. This is not appropiate, right? What should I do?

It's a scam. Never send your email or phone number. Everything must remain on Upwork. Did you check if they have a verified number and payment method?

hey had verified payment, that is why I accepted the interview. thanks, it wont happen again.
