Sharing email to new client

Hi all,

I am having a client and she wanted my email address to assign canva account. Client was about to send the contract and asked email. I sent her but upwork said the message is not ok but later all good. Is it not ok to send an email address to client? All work is done on upwork i have been working on upwork for a longer time and never had experienced before. Please guide. I have accepted offer already on upwork.

As far as I know, enterprise client is exempt from such limitation. But for individual client, you'd better to double check. Even if it is allowed for account authorization purpose, you'd better have all communications on upwork to be protected. However, in our day-to-day communication,  it is impossible to avoid the account sharing unintentionally, ex. Google Sheets/Docs. Without the account info, you would not be able to grant the access and share the final delivery.

FYI, I've found the instructions. It indicates that is allowed for project sharing purposes but on your own risks. Hope this helps. Right here: Guidelines
