Sharing of Skype id and Contact number with client

Hello Upwork Team,

      When I bid on any project on Upwork and after that client message comes to me on Upwork so can I share my skype id and contact number with the client just for discussion on the call to understand client project clearly and do all payments of the project with the client on the Upwork platform please tell me about that.

Hi Ravimohan,

It's fine to communicate with your clients by other means outside the platform after they respond to your proposal. I do however advise you to copy all the files and communication into the contract's message room after each conversation, and ask your client for acknowledgment, in order to keep a record in case a problem arises.
