Should I Close the Contract?

Hi there,

I've been on upwork for over a year now and have completed several contracts.

However, I've got three or four contracts from last year that I haven't heard from the client. Should I close the contract? Does leaving it open and inactive harm my JSS? It's now been six months for most of them since I last heard from them?

Thanks!

Leaving them open won't hurt your JSS. You can close them out, but I suggest doing it slowly rather than all at once. I usually leave two weeks between closing dormant contracts, since that's how long the client has to leave feedback and I try not to have more than 2 without feedback back-to-back on my profile.
