Shouldn't my "Top Rated Eligible Weeks" have increased?

Hi,

I must be missing something.

Let's see: to be "Top rated", I should consistently maintain a 90%+ Job Success Score or Rising Talent status, or both, for 13 out of the last 16 weeks.

That's ok. I made some bad choices months ago and my JSS was a 86%. It increased to 89% and after that It increased consistently to 92%, 95%, 97%, 98% and 99% (this last update is the same despite having 2 new 5 stars but I understand that getting a 100% is extremely difficult)

The thing is that in the last 3-4 months, I have been increasing consistently my JSS and my "Top Rated Eligible Weeks" is not increasing at all (right now it a 10 of 16 and it may be increased 1 or 2 weeks in those 3-4 months).

What am I missing?

Is there somewhere I can review an history of my JSS?

Thank you.

The "bad" weeks have to work their way all the way through your 16 week window before they can start to fall out the other end.

As long as they are still "in the middle" of the 16 week window, it is "good" weeks that fall out, not "bad ones if that makes sense.

As soon as the first "bad week" you had reaches 16 weeks, it falling out of the 16 week window with a "good" week being added will start to increase your "X out of the last 16" number.

as a small example, see how the "bad" weeks move through the 16 week window? You must have 6 of those.

I'm sure I am not alone in wondering why it has to be the way it is. Why does a "bad" have to move through the enire window- why can't a bad week not simply be replaced by the first "good" week that occurs?

The way I see it, if you have say 12 "bad" weeks, you only need one "good" week to get to the minimum 13 "good" weeks you need. So instead of just adding the first "good" week that happens, you have to wait until all the "bad" weeks have moved through the window.

I get how it works, but I just don't get why it has to work this way.

Because then the "X out of the last "16 weeks" thing would no longer be true and there would be even more top rated freelancers.

It would eventually become meaningless.

You're right- the devil always lives in the details and in this case, the devil is the word "consecutive". However, being Top Rated means nothing anyway, so one more meaningless metric won't make much difference.

It does not have to be consecutive. It just have to be inside the 16 week window.

Thanks, Petra. It makes sense.

Is there a way to reach some kind of history, something personalized where I can see my current situation?

Thank you.

Not really. If you remember when you dropped below 90% you can work it out yourself I guess.

Hi Eric,

What Petra has shared is correct. Top Rated Eligible Weeks means that you maintain 90% job success score at least 13 weeks out of 16. You can check this help article as well.

Thank you, Joanne.

I have always that sensation that I've had a JSS greater than 90% for a long time, at least 3 months and I don't see anything coming. Byt that I mean: the "Top Rated Eligible Weeks" are the same and increase very very slowly.

So, the underlying and logical question is: Is there some place in my account/profile where I could reach some kind of history for that matter?

Thank you.

Hi Eric,
