Slow feed , Proposal responses. low bid jobs.

Hello there,

Have anyone noticed a severe slow down in Upwork feed? I have been using Upwork for years. so I am not a newbie.

I know how to write a decent proposal. but it's very hard these days to drop a job? why? I have never expected one day that I will come up with a post like that because of the progress that I was making in a very short time.

I noticed that the feed is so slow. and I never receive any response for proposals no matter how hard I work on the proposal, and I don't get invited to jobs often the same way I used to receive invitations and when I receive an invitation it's most likely for rocket science or something that I am not even aware of or related to my work. even though my JSS was lower and I was not top rated back then.

Looking back at the 160 proposals that I sent for the last 50 days. 99% of them clients did not hire anybody?!

Also the feed these days is full of $5 and 10$ jobs. which makes it even harder. to drop a job because I simply don't apply to this kind of jobs.

Is the platform dying or am I the one who has not been doing good? I started being confused.

Kindly advise.

I have noticed the same thing.  It's like the quality and quantity of jobs has severely decreased. I feel like I'm going nuts. I used to get lots of invites for good jobs and had a steady flow of work.  All of a sudden....not. Anyone else noticing anything?

I was giving excuses by saying maybe because of holidays, maybe weekends. but it's been so long now. that my excuses does not work anymore..

I am noticing the exact same thing.   Have not booked a job all year with over 250 proposals.  Vast majority of clients do not seem to be hiring anybody (and many are not even interviewing anybody!).

Is Upwork dying (it seems like it to me)....

But the real question is... Is Upwork interested in listening to us freelancers to fix this broken platform?  (So far the answer seems to be "nope").

I just arrived at the kit. I thought there is something to do here, but somehow everything is meager as in trouble. I do video editing, surprisingly, the topic is in high demand, but the orders are of a very high level, even for me a beginner. I don't even want to watch what they want for that kind of money. They offer $10 and want to set it up for $100. They also collect time)) It's funny
