So a featured contributor can have a black and white photo, but I can not?

Rules change. Years ago all sorts of things were accepted which no longer are.

What remains the same, however, is the fact that it is in really poor form to stomp into a forum, point fingers, and scream "I am being treated unfairly!"

Do I understand you correctly, that your complaint is that you can't post a photo so that you look like Renante?

I see you were asked to upload a clearer image due to the process you were asked to go through, and can confirm freelancers are allowed to use black and white photos as long as that doesn't affect their clarity. Please consider uploading a photo (black and white or coloured) which clearly shows your face, which is partly shaded in your current image. Feel free to follow up in a pm if you need additional assistance or advice.

I actually think that Renante's official photo makes him look somewhat like a young Orson Welles. But that's probably just me.
