This morning I have two email from Odesk where a "FREELANCER" puts in the title I am in need of money. Then when opening the message is looking for a job. How are people spamming me through Odesk and how do I get this to stop?

This is a new one to me. First of all you need to report them directly to customer service as this is not acceptable. I'm not actually sure how they can email you directly through the oDesk system unless you have hired them previously. In any case it is totally unacceptable and needs to be brought to CS's attention.
