I have wasted soooo much money on Buying Connects for them to only be wasted by spam and scam job postings requesting for me to join them on Google Hangouts for an interview. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I’m getting kind of frustrated.

You will get them back if the job is taken down by upwork for ToS violation. Always flag those.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I've checked and connects were already refunded to you as the job has been taken down because it was in violation of Upwork TOS and action has been taken on the client account. You can check this under your Connect History.
