You're right! And I just noticed that this is a totally widespread problem.

On one of mine it says $ 100k + - but in the list it says $ 50k+ and for loads and loads of people it says $ 0

So ultimately, Upwork is broken again 😞

Goran, that is pretty pointless when obviously the whole system is broken...

I have just run some searches and could not find a single profile with a specialized profile where the numbers shown on the list of freelancers and the actual profiles actually tallied....

And worse still, when I run very specific searches it actually often takes me to the wrong specialized profile! I run a search for translation english German - and click on a freelancer, instead of taking me to her translation profile, it takes me to her other specialized one  (content writing)

The whole thing does. not. work.

Well, considering that every.single.search. has the same result, just searching at random (or using the search term I already provided) would have saved me half an hour of work repeating the experiment I did earlier but yeah, I've sent you the results with screenshots by pm. My address for a new mug is on file I assume. 😉 (kidding, my mug is fine)

But no search brings up anything different. ALL profiles from ANY search at all that have a specialized profile show in the search results with dramatically reduced earnings, mostly 0

Thanks Petra, I do appreciate the time and effort you invested in providing the information about the two issues. To clarify, I was after more information about incorrect specialized profiles being displayed in search results and have escalated the case you flagged in your private message, along with another one I found displayed for the identical search parameters you used.

The issue with incorrect contract earnings is a known issue and our team is actively working on resolving it as soon as possible. We'll follow up with an update once we have more information, thanks again for your help in reporting and troubleshooting the issue.

I’ve noticed this in a lot of freelancer’s profiles, not just my own. I’m sorry if this is been answered before but I haven’t been able to find an answer yet.

My profile preview when clients search for freelancers displays that I’ve earned $0 - once my profile is clicked on, my actual earnings are displayed. I’ve seen this for freelancers that have made well over $10k as well, so it isn’t just because my profile is relatively new. (See attached screenshots for reference)

Does anybody know why this is happening?

It is a well know bug that affects everyone with a specialized profile.

Thanks for your reply! Do you find that it's commonly known among clients
as well? I figured it would deter clients from privately inviting
freelancers to apply for their jobs who display $0 earned.

No doubt about it. At this stage the only way to fix it from the freelancer end is to delete the specialized profile(s)

For the third day in a row, the history of work performed on specialized profiles has not been displayed. Also for this reason, in the search for freelancers, my profile shows zero earnings, although this is not at all the case. Please tell me what could be the reason for this.

Thanks, Bojan.  When it is fixed and tested + retested and really 'n truly fixed it makes sense to start a NEW THREAD announcing the same.  Many of us have specialized profiles in draft form.  It there is a proper announcement (vs. one buried in a thread) we will actually see it.

Ergo, we can take draft and hit publish.

I added a specialised profile and then searched for my name just to see what it would look like in the "preview", and its suddenly showing 0 USD earnings. I immediately removed my specialised profile but its still showing the same. Just a heads up to those with specialised profiles..maybe you are showing zero earnings when clients see you listed among proposals/search for your skills (and a heads up to UW to fix this bug).

I have created Specialized Profiles for illustration and add all the relative jobs and reviews related to it but somehow the earnings and my jobs related to illustration is not showing when anyone searching my illustration profile but when they click and enter to my profile it is there. adding a screenshot for both when anyone searches me and after they click on that link.

please let me know what I need to do for displing my total earning when anyone searching me. 

it happens only with my illustration  Specialized Profile.

Hi Lim,

The information shown on your general profile will not appear on your specialized profile. Specialized profiles are completely different from your general profile that is intended for you to add information specific to one area of expertise. Thank you!

Hi Joanne, i agree that specialized profile is to show information for specific one of expertise. But i have already completed so many previous jobs and the specialized profile should show the earning i have earned to the client when they are searching for freelancer. For now, it is showing zero earning which is extremely dangerous to me as it will make the client think that i am earning nothing in Upwork and he will prefer other freelancer with higher earning.
