Spending Connects on Availability Badge

Hello Fellow Freelancers, 

Can anyone please guide me about spending connects on availability badge? Is it worth spending when you are not getting any clients on Upwork? If you have to spend connects either on availability badge or sending proposals, what will you priortize in that case? It will be a great help, if anyone can guide me about this as availability badge now cost 2 connects per day. I am getting out of budget.

Hello Faria,

From my experience using the availbility badge for one month, I only got around 50 more views, however, when I took off the badge, I didn't see a difference. Overall. to save connects, I wouldn't spend on the badge.

It's a waste of money. Availability badge does not increase your chance of getting hired. I will advise you use that connects to bid for jobs instead.  Bidding for jobs also means you available. If not you won't have wasted your connects to apply them.

With the new update, you need to spend connects to send proposals for invitation jobs. So, now the available badge is totally useless.

No, it is not!
Furher more, even boosting does not do enything in these days - "clients" don't even view the proposals.
I'm here for more than a decade and there were no days worst than these last 2 years.
