Stop opening Time Tracker on project change

On MacOS when I switch between project it automatically moves me on another desktop (where the last time Time Tracker was opened I guess) and opens Time Tracker main window. It's really annoying especially when you need to switch projects often. Is there a way to prevent this behavior and just change the active project?
