Hi all, I'm fairly new and was excited to see some requests for interviews but I got two from the same person and they mis-spelled a bunch of stuff in their request, including the Google part of Google hang out. Is this common or are my scam senses just too high?
If you are a newbie most invites to interview will be scams.
100% of invites to interview that involve Google Hangouts will be the silly ancient "We will send you a (obviously fake) check for a home office" scam.

If you feel like it, you can continue the conversation up to a point where you are asked to buy something, work for free, or outside UW and then report the client. Otherwise just block this client. It is scam.
