Submit Work button - has something changed?

I'm having a bit of trouble with the "Submit Work for Payment" button on Upwork. Normally, when I send messages through the system, they end up in the message room. But today, I sent a message along with a file, and now I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm starting to worry that the client won't even see it. 

 

Do you have any idea what might be going on? I haven't used this button in a while, so I'm wondering if something has changed.

Never seen it. Maybe check your email inbox to see if the activity is logged there.

Thanks, Biljana. No, there's nothing in my email inbox. I eventually managed to find submission details on the contract page, but they are hidden so deeply that I doubt the client would be able to see them. 😅 The message and the attachment should be visible in the message room, but they aren't 😕

Do you think the client will be notified by email? Inform them by message and inquire about it.

I'll probably need to do that. I just wish the platform would function properly so that I don't have to bother my clients to get paid.

Something is clearly going on. I think this is related to the issue I'm experiencing right now. I submitted work for payment, but it never appeared in the contract's message room.
