Submit proposal button is not active.

I have a APPLIED proposal, but I don't see how to contact the client. For me, this is the first confirmed proposal and I do not know how to continue communicating with the client. Or what is the next step?

 

The key "Submit proposal" is not active. I can't press it.

Yep, the blue applied tag means you sent a proposal.

It's greyed out because you already submitted a proposal. You contacted the client. The proposal goes to the client.

Unless the client contacts you, there is no way to communicate with them.

That's because you have already submitted a proposal, as it tells you on the screenshot.

I have no idea what you're asking , but yes clients just never responding is a thing. You should probably read up on how Upwork works or you're about to get scammed and be the next person to rage on here about not getting paid.

My profile has been approved about 10 hours ago but still 'proposal button' is not active. Please look into the matter and fix it so that I may start bidding the projects.

Hi

I joined the agency, but I can't submit an offer from the agency. The Submit Offer button is not active. 

I'll say right away that I'm going to work as a freelancer and through an agency, i.e. NO EXCLUSIVE.

I would like to clarify that only clients can send an offer. As a freelancer, you can only send proposals under the agency if the agency owner changes your permision. If you have any additional questions, let me know. Thank you.

Hi Alexey,

 

Yes your account is now updated. When you're under your freelancer profile you can click the Submit Proposal button. Now at the top under "Proposal settings", you will have the option to choose whether you will send the proposal as an individual freelancer or under the agency. Thank you.

I made an offer from the agency, the client wrote to me in a personal chat, and I can't organize a chat with the agency. To discuss large projects, specialists of different profiles are needed, and I can't do it.

Thank you for your message. I see that you have already added a team member to the conversation. Also, you can add other team members by clicking the options menu (3 dots) > 'Add People' button on the respective conversation.
