Suffer from the lack of quality jobs at Upwork

Hello. Here it is. Most of the jobs are frivolous personal projects. Handful of corporate clients are not even serious about what they wanted. I'm sitting on over 100 unspent Connects just because there are no good jobs worth submitting proposals. And that is about the software development - the most hot and the most labor-shortage area in the modern world! I think Upwork should do their hard job of attracting valuable clients to Upwork!

The quality is there. Two things that helped me attract higher-quality clients: 

• Increased my rates
• Optimized my profile (comprehensive description, tagline, testimonials, portfolio items, video intro)

I mean REALLY optimize your profile. Go deep and wide. Having reviewed your profile, briefly, I think there's opportunity to add more. Doing so might help your profile show up in search experiences and attract direct invites from better clients.
