The Kardasians are awful though; particularly that misshapen one who goes out with that rapper who thinks he's God, I don't like her at all Cat Sad

The next thing you know, we'll have a picket.

P.S. I need that Minion post of yours Ramon. -_-

I think the minion has disappeared into the ether for all eternity, I'm afraid. An unfortunate casualty inthe long-running struggle for freelancers to get their voices heard.

Robert, I think you might have meant "boycott." No worries, it wouldn't work anyway. Nice try getting people to play nice. I believe Upwork enjoys some of it since infighting distracts from the ridiculous things Upwork is doing.

Oh just great.... Now we are going to have "levels." Upwork can't even manage the JS scores fairly let alone different "levels"!

Regarding input from Elancers, they are now Upworkers so they have the same rights as the rest of the freelancers here on this platform. It seems like a lot of Elancers and Upworkers are not too keen about how things are done on Upwork. No surprise....

Yes, if they implemented it, you just know some $3 an hour data entry specialist with 4.40 feedback would somehow end up at the top and  described as a 'legendary freelancer' or something, while a  5 star, $80 an hour marketing expert would find themselves denoted by a cutsie, patronising title such as 'newbie' or 'fledgeling'. When it comes to this platform, simple definately proved the best.

It doesn't have to be simple; it just has to be not **bleep**e. Elance has a lot more features than Upwork does but it's also a lot more reliable. Sure, it's far from perfect, but at least you can search for jobs properly.

Just out of interest, what's wrong with the job search? I just used it and it seemed fine to me.

"Just out of interest, what's wrong with the job search?"

It's slow. You can't build a search then run it; it runs automatically ( and slooooowly) every time you change a parameter. There's no way to search by region. There's no way to filter out jobs without a verified payment method. There's no way to filter by job status. Parameters for hourly-paid jobs can screw up the results for fixed-price jobs even when you exclude hourly from the search. There's no way to tell from the results list how many people have already bid on each job or what the average bid is.
