As Upwork rolled out the new connect system few months ago, I was confirmed here by multiple users including moderators, Community Gurus etc that Upwork wouldn't suspend accounts for too many bids anymore. See below screenshots.

But past few days I saw people complaining in the different community platforms that Upwork started suspending accounts for the same reason again. Any official confirmation please? So others can be careful about sending too many proposals like before.

Thanks for your question. There can be many reasons why we suspend an account and for more information, please check out this help article. However, I can confirm that we do not suspend accounts for submitting too many proposals.

Yeah, this is now called "unusual activity". I also see this in various chats. The man didn’t apply for a while, then he returned, he started sending proposals and immediately ban.
This is something like:
- Usually you do not send proposals. But the unusual thing is that you started sending them.
There is no verification whether it is you or not you are back. This is not interesting to anyone. Just ban
