Switching payments from personal to LTD account

Hi all,

I am setting up a limited company in Malta and I would like to to adjust my current Upwork profile so the payments would go through the company.

Right now I have an Upwork account but it's registered on my personal name and not the company. Would it be possible that I set my Upwork payment details to pay out to my LTD company? Not sure how this would work as I'm a freelancer on Upwork, but it's being paid to my LTD company as income from a freelancer? Has anyone experienced this before and will it work? Thanks

Thank you for reaching out to us. I would like to clarify that we require your name to match the name on any bank accounts or payment methods you intend to use. To set up payment, you must be listed as an account holder or authorized signer on the chosen account, or be able to demonstrate that you are authorized by the business to do so. The listed name on the account must match your verified name on Upwork.

I went over the links and it's more clear now.

I have another question as well, so basically i can keep my current name on my current  Upwork account but switch to the VAT and the account of the new LTD company? Can I also include the company name on the invoices ? With obviously providing the necessary documentation to prove that I am the owner of the company?
