This freelancer has an open offer, and can't be made exclusive to your agency at this time.

Hi, I am trying to send ivitation to freelnace to become a agency member. But Respectively I got following error.

You cannot invite **Edited for Community Guidelines** because **Edited for Community Guidelines** has an active proposal.

I have asked her to remove all active proposal. Once she removed all active proposal, and I tried sending invitation again, She is getting now following error:

This freelancer has an open offer, and can't be made exclusive to your agency at this time.Invitation has not been sent.

I told her about this error. But she told she is not having any active offer or contract.

Can anyone help me to sort out please?

Thanks
Himanshu

ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Hi Himanshu,

I checked and would like to ask you to share the following steps with the freelancer in question, in order to be enable the option to add them to your agency as an exclusive member. They need to go to Find Work tab > Proposals > Archived > click on job posts that shows Job is Closed as the reason > use the Withdraw Proposal button. You should be able to send them the invite afterwards.

Its Done.

Thanks lot.

This is very helpful tip. Thank you so much

I am seeing a similar issue, I cannot be added exclusively to an agency. I do see a 'Job is Closed' in Archived Interviews but I didn't apply to it, so there is no Withdraw button. Any suggestions?

Hi Nauman,

To clarify, only the proposals you submitted are included in the Archived proposals tab. Please click on the contract title and you should be able to see the button and withdraw your proposal. Make sure you check earlier archived proposals and follow the same steps for jobs tagged as Job is Closed.

Thanks for the suggestion Vladimir. I am afraid I don't see a Withdraw button there.  There is another one where I see "Hired - view contract", but again I cannot withdraw.

Just morbid curiosity> but why do you guys all want to be part of an agency?

Haha, its the new trend I suppose 🙂

Just kidding, we are starting our own agency actually.

Hi Nauman,

Can you please confirm you're looking under Find Work > Proposals > Archived tab, and share a screesnshot of the page once you click on the job title?

Yes you are right. Here is a screenshot:

Hi Nauman,

I checked and we made an adjustment that should enable you to receive an invite and join an agency as an exclusive member. Let us know if you were able to complete this process.

I have exactly the same problem as Nauman. Can it also be fixed for me?

Hi Denis,

We made an adjustment and you should now be able to receive and accept the invite to join the agency. Please ask the agency owner or admin to resend you the invite.

I have a similar issue as Nauman and Denis K, can you please fix this. I withdrew all archived proposals. There is one archived that does not have withdraw button. It simply says job is closed

Hi Vishal,

For jobs that were already closed, the option to withdraw will not be available. I've requested the Support Team to withdraw your application for this job and they will work on it shortly.

Hi,

We have a freelancer whose account that has a "Job is Closed" is not able to be added as an exclusive member.

We don't see Withdraw button. Her account is: **Edited for Community Guidelines**

I've provided a screenshot from her view.

Let me know if this can be fixed. Thanks!

Hi Ash,

Could you please try re-sending the invite to join your agency to her again? Let me know if it still doesn't work.

Hi Igor,

Please cancel your interview requests, and then you should be able to join the agency.

~Nina

Thanks for your reply, but all 21 invitations to interview have the status "job is closed" and no cancel button.

Hi Igor,

Once you have opened your proposal/interview you can use the Withdraw Proposal button that is located under the Submit a Proposal button. THank you!

Hi Igor,

We've cancelled all of your invitations from our end, you should now be able to join the agency.

~Nina

Thanks a lot, looks like it worked.

Yes, I did it. However, for some proposal it is not showing the withdraw button I am still facing the same issue.

Hi Atiksha,

Please check if you have any active candidacies as well and withdraw them, if you`re still seeing the same issue after that let me know. Thank you!
