This is the first time this happens to my portfolio. No matter what I uploaded, the thumbnail of my latest project remained blurry. Could you kindly help me out?
Thank you so much!
Thumbnail images for portfolio look fine, but they can look perfect. Please check the attachment.
Please let the technical developers / designers know there is a css rule that should be modified so the thumbnail images won't look like blurred:
Currently it is set to:
And it should be set to:
Our thumbnail images in our portfolio will look clear and good, not blurred.
Let me know the status of this matter, I'm waiting to have these thumbnails displayed as they should!
Thanks Vladimir, please let them know this issue as soon as possible!
We need to have the thumbnail images of our portfolio clear as crystal!
It helps us be hired and be valued by our best work.
I will like to know when this matter reaches the team and know if this is solved.
I totally agree with Yolana. The thumbnails should looks crystal clear and professional. I am also facing same issue as her where no matter what size of thumbnail I upload it always looks blurred. Second problem is why it has to be perfect square? I have rectangular images but upwork thumbnail crop tool requires it to be square only. Overall it looks very rigid and has lot of scope for improvements.
Earlier it was possible to upload a preview in PNG format. Now PNG is converted into a 16Kb JPG. It's horrible. Look at the difference. I attached a screenshot.
Upd: My issue was solved today. I have another one, about compression of avatars. It's also horrible (please see ava.png). Thank you
