Hello I have the same issue now. I am using Mac, only the messages show but not the time tracker. I did try to install and uninstall already but its the same. Please help.

Thanks Nikola I did try the steps in troubleshooting guide sent to me but same thing. I don’t even have the upwork icon that I can click to. Still only messages show.

While the Time Tracker is missing, is the Messages up?


Try pressing the 'X' to minimize/hide it. Then try clicking your Upworks icon/shortcut, the Time Tracker should be invoked again.


That worked for me.

Hi Jennifer, 


Could you try the following please - 


  • Click on the upper left hand button to see if there are options  that will show your contracts
  • Click on the "X" button, to see if the messages windows will close, and the time tracker will pop up
  • Clicking on the Upwork icon just in case the actual tracker is minimized

Could you also share us what version of the app you are using?

That worked!!! Thanks so much!!!


I only had the messages window showing. By clicking the red x in the top right, I had minimized all windows. Then when I restarted, the time tracker showed up again.
