Time Worked not on Timelog also It says I am over limit

I have started a new contract here last week, and I have worked for a little more than an hour since I have started, but I do not see it on my timesheet details, nor is it billed to my client.

 

I do not see it on timesheet, but in my work diary details.

 

Also, I have worked an hour and 50 minutes today, but it says on my work diary that I have exceeded my time limit for the week. I've reviewed our contract details, and it doesn't say anything about my client putting a limit.

 

Please help me straighten this out.

1) When? Everything prior to Sunday night midnight UTC would be counted as last week, not this week, and would have been charged to the client yesterday. All work done this week (after midnight UTC Sunday) will be charged to the client next week.

 

2) Triple check that you logged it against the correct contract and are looking at the correct week.

 

3) Go to the contract and click on the terms and settings tab, it shows the limit there.

You do NOT get paid for time over the weekly limit unless the client increases the limit during the current week.

---- I know that it's counted last week, but I do not see it in my timesheet. Nothing has been dent to my client for last week's time. Nor do I see anything on my timesheet info for this week.

Your client set the weekly limit to 0 hours. This is not particularly easy to do so the client must have done it deliberately.

 

The client needs to change that, as otherwise NO time you track counts or gets billed or gets paid AT ALL because when there is a limit of 0 hours obviously everything in excess of 0 hours is "over the limit!"

 

It can not get fixed for last week, the client will need to pay you via a bonus. It CAN be fixed by the client for this week by going to the contract and increasing the weekly limit.
