Time tracker app billing

 Hi upwork community,

Am struggling to bill a client using the app. How do i set the maximum weekly hours and the dollar charged per hour? I would appreciate the help

We don't "bill clients using the app."

We log time using the desktop Upwork application.

We don't do that using the app.

Freelancers don't set the maximum weekly hours.

Clients set the maximum number of hours that may be worked on a contract during a week.

Freelancers DO set their hourly rate.

Use the Upwork website to do that.

You do not "set" the maximum hours and you do not "bill a client" in the sense you are trying to do.

If you are hired on an hourly contract, you use the time tracker while you are working, to track and record the time. The client is then invoiced and charged automatically at the rate it states in your hourly contract for the time you worked and tracked.

I am puzzled considering you have been working on an hourly contract and getting paid since January, yet you have suddenly "forgotten" how hourly contracts work?
