Time tracker notifications get stuck after a while on Mac

When notifications get stuck, I can't open/quit time tracker until forcing quit it.

This or something similar happens every time a new Apple OS comes out. We had months of fund wit Catalina.

I've held off downloading Big Sur..... for that very reason.

yes, probably I'll try to downgrade it to an older version, this is pretty tedious.
