Just curious if anyone knows why the work week ends on Sunday at 8pm (EST)? I often work past 8 on Sunday nights and it always resets my time. I still get paid, it just goes on to the upcoming week

Hi Christy,
Because Upwork is a global workplace, they end the work week at midnight GMT. Freelancers have to mentally adjust that to their own time zone.
Just make a note of the week ending time somewhere, and after a few weeks, you'll get used to it as far as keeping track of your income budget for the week, etc.
Hope that helps!
