Timer for Android TABLET cOMPUTER.

I was browsing for an answer but nobody made the right question yet. So here I am doing it and I expect not a : change contract to fixed, ad manual hours and such, but a real competent and decent answer.

So, as I do, many of us use android systems. And I am not speaking of mobile phones, fablets and such ... but real tablets large display,  or even chrome books!

My question is: Do I have necessarily need to invest in a desktip PC instead of using my Chromebook or my large tablet PC? Why? 
Same questio for iPads since there is not tracker for those either.

Thank you in advance for the educated and documented answer. The community will be a better place if things are solved.

If you want to work hourly contracts with the tracker - yes, you need a desktop PC or laptop or a Surface Pro for example.

At this point, that is the only answer there is.
