Tiny Cover Letter Window, Big Annoyance

Hi,

I was wondering if I'm the only one who's a bit miffed with the tiny space to write a cover letter.

Of course it's possible to write a long text within the specified area but a freelancer can only see a few lines at a time. I think that the tiny window makes writing a cover letter harder than necessary.

Since a client gets dozens of cover letters for a single job post, I try to explain why I'm a good fit for a specific job, sharing work samples and a few pointers about my design approach when I apply for a job post.  All this requires more space than a few lines. 

After sending a few proposals,  the tiny cover letter window makes me feel a bit claustrophobic! 

I hope that Upwork considers providing more space for cover letters and make the future UI changes with the freelancers' comfort in mind.

Hi Mehmetcan,

For some reason, I can't use a screenshot of the cover letter. If you look at the cover letter area, you will see diagonal lines in the bottom right corner. If you put the cursor on the lines and pull outward or downward, you can expand the cover letter area to a much larger size. I hope this helps.

You can see the same option here on the forum. Look at the bottom right for the lines.

You are welcome. Now you can write a great proposal without having to scroll up and down. I wish all problems were so easily solved!
