Greeting,
I hope so everyone had a great Xmas weekend and Happy holidays weekend. I would like some advise.
1. Tips on how to improve my JSS score
2. What should i include in my cover letter about the negative feedback due to some circumstances, I fail to give full support to my clients recently. What will I replyback when someone says about a negative feedback left by my clients. Bur feedbacks are always honest.
Please share ideas.
Your Sincerly,
Syed B.

You can rather try not to mention any of previous work experiences, and hope they won't go over your profile and read the feedback you have. You can't excuse yourself, it's best just go over it, continue and try to be reliable from now on.
And if somebody asks you just write a plain truth. Were you sick, really? It would have been responsible from you to inform your client about that on time. Why didn't you do that? Do you have any real justification or were you just exhausted and forgot? Just stick with plain truth every time.
Good luck.

No. Clients are not interested in lame excuses. They want their job done, in time, every time.

Sure is a very nice client to pay your internet bill for you. I wouldn't mention your feedback in your proposals unless a client asks you about it.

dude, you really messed it up with that client... I'm surprised that your score is over 80% considering all the feedback you have gotten during 2017.
The only thing you can do right now to recover yourself is to work 10 times harder than you used to.. And don't give excuses, no matter what they are. Clients don't care about excuses they care about communication... If you are sick, communicate that to the client so he can do something about it... Don't make excuses after you already messed it up... and that includes any proposal, or answer to your feedback or anything... excuses are red flags.

Well brother I actually had 100% Job score, and I dont lie with my clients, I went into bad habit, and had to get recovered from substance abuse even during the recovery, I still tried to work, obviously the client will get angrym but right I will be send re-proposals to then give me more once chance. I am just wanting to know how you guys manage it when you face this type of situation ? , and also by giving exams on Upwork will my JSS score increase ?

1) Essentially those who work professionally simply don't "face this type of situation" and those who do either learn from it and change their ways or stop freelancing. There is no miracle cure for messing up.
2) No.

Considering the number of poor ratings that your clients left, it was a miracle.
