Top Rated Badge is delayed

Hello,

 

I have apparently fulfilled all the criteria of Top Rated mentioned here Top Rated – Upwork Customer Service & Support | Upwork Help Center.

 

But I have still not got the badge. Kindly let me know why there is such a delay. Or, there is something I am overlooking. 

 

I have attached a screenshot of My Stats.

Hi Abu,

 

Since you're an exclusive member of the agency, you will receive the Top Rated badge once the agency has received its own Top Rated status.

To learn more about the requirements for an agency to receive the Top Rated badge, please refer to the guide you have shared in your post. Thank you.

If I make myself a Non-Exclusive member of my agency right now while retaining the Business Manager role, how much time will it take for me to gain a Top Rated badge?

Hi Abu,

 

Once you're eligible to become a Top Rated freelancer it can take up to 48 hours for the badge to be awarded on your profile. Thank you.

Hello Goran,

 

I fulfilled the criteria to become Top Rated freelancer more than a week ago now. But, as you have identified that I have not got the Top Rated Badge because I am an Exclusive freelancer of my agency. 

 

Now, I have two questions:

 

1) If I convert myself from Exclusive to Non-Exclusive freelance of my agency **Edited for Community Guidelines** , will I be able to get the Top Rated Badge?

 

2) If yes, how much time will it take for me to get the Top Rated Badge once I change my status from Exclusive to Non Exclusive freelance of my agency right now?

Hi Abu,

 

1. Yes you will be able to become a Top Rated freelancer.

 

2. Once you have fulfilled all of the requirements and are eligible to receive the badge, it will be awarded on your profile in up to 48 hours.

Thank you for making it a little more clear. 

 

Will you please check if there is any other requirement of Top Rated badge which I have not achieved yet? (Screenshot of My Stats is attached)

 

Apparently, I have met all the criteria of the Top Rated badge as per the information available here: Top Rated – Upwork Customer Service & Support | Upwork Help Center

 

However, it is pertinent to mention here that there is absolutely no such condition of "Non-Exclusive" freelancer in the criteria of Top Rate badge in the above help article. Furthermore, there it is also not mentioned that an Exclusive freelancer who has met the requirements of the Top Rated badge will get the badge once his/her agency gets the badge itself.

To learn more about the difference between exclusive and non-exclusive members check out this Guide
I would also like to clarify that once you've updated your status to non-exlusive member the badge should be awarded on your profile in up to 48 hours. Thank you.

I have updated my status from Exclusive to Non-Exclusive member of my agency, **Edited for Community Guidelines** 
. I shall let you know on this thread when I get the Top Rated badge.

I have got the Top Rated badge within 24 hours of converting my profile from Exclusive to Non-Exclusive freelancer of my agency.

 

Here, I would make a suggestion to add this point clearly in the criteria of the Top Rated badge in this help article: Top Rated – Upwork Customer Service & Support | Upwork Help Center
